Ann Vazquez holds the distinction of being the only athlete in Colgate Women’s Games’ 47-year history who has competed in nearly every series! She has advanced to an unprecedented thirty-five Finals and won more than twenty-one scholarship awards, mainly in her specialty event, the 1500 meters!! Her athletic promise was evident as a young middle school athlete when she was voted “Most Improved Athlete” in only her second year at the games. She continues to compete today, in the 30’s Plus division. Her athletic career is marked with many outstanding achievements, including earning an athletic scholarship and degree from Brown University. Ann’s 30-year coaching legacy is as impressive as her lifelong passion for running and inspiring others to persevere and pursue their dreams.
